Guardians of Sunset

It has been pretty gray and rainy for the past few days. We did get a late afternoon break today, so I headed down to Carkeek and walked north up the ridge. The colors here are not compelling, but I like the strength of the trees bracketing the scene.

This has been a teasingly nice weekend, with sun and temperatures into the high 50's.
I was torn between doing more sunset images versus taking shots from West Seattle looking east back at the city as the light reflected off of the buildings. Looking east won out, and this is one of the many images. I will post more later at my website, www.terryrogersphotography.com.
